Presentation of the Research Chair
“Robotic and Virtual Reality” PSA Peugeot Citroën – MINES ParisTech
PSA Peugeot-Citroen and the Ecole des Mines ParisTech created in June 2011 a chair of research in the field of human-robot collaboration. Led by Professor Philippe Fuchs, for a period of five years, the high level of cooperation is to contribute to the development of knowledge in the fields of robotics and virtual reality, especially in collaboration with Human robots. Another objective of the chair is the dissemination of search results with the organization of public seminars.
The main activities of the Chair “PSA Peugeot Citroën, Robotics and Virtual Reality” are research, training and internship in the field of robotics, automatic recognition, artificial intelligence and virtual reality techniques.
Backed by a collaboration of twenty years in terms of research in the fields of virtual reality, automation and robotics, PSA Peugeot Citroën and MINES ParisTech realized their relationship with the launch of the Chair.
